Why are they eating whey protein? It’s a dairy product and it’s very insulinogenic and if insulin response is what they’re working on then whey protein shouldn’t be in their diet.
Type 2 diabetes where the body produces enough insulin are 100% reversible. Check with Dr. John McDougall orsome other specialist. Sugar is not the problem or you couldn0t reversed it eating fruits. It's the intra-cellular fat that make the cells not respond to insulin. That's why you are insulin resistant.

This is okay for people who are normal. For people who are diabetic type 2 but have food allergies its a fight from hell these people have it easy.
Thank you for showing non-obese people with pre-diabetes as well. The biggest lie we are told is that it's only a day person's disease. I was very proud of all of them. They did so well and this is very motivating.
I went low fat, mainly whole food, plant based diet and reversed my diabetes. Its not the sugar that cause diabetes. Its fats, intramyocellular lipids to be exact. Those lipids are physically blocking insulin from bringing sugars into muscle cells. That's why you feeling so tired and lethargic all the time. Once those lipids are gone, you feel better and insulin resistance simply disappear.

gluten, processed foods and sugar are ALL inflammatories along with ALL animal products. it can be done, whole plant-based meals are so wonderful!

All I eat is veggies. Fruit, veggies and soooome seafood.
